Our Mission
At MAP International, our mission is to promote the Total Health of people living in the world's poorest communities. And we’ve been carrying out that mission for over 50 years. Our extraordinarily successful programs revolve around three primary pillars: Provision of Essential Medicines, Promotion of Comprehensive Community Health, and the Prevention and Mitigation of Disease. Simply put, we prevent, treat, and eradicate Neglected Tropical Diseases by treating the sick and educating the community.
Global Attention
We are not the only ones responding: NTD’s are now on the international agenda. The successes achieved in numerous countries and regions of the world prove that wide-spread interventions are technically feasible, visibly powerful, and highly cost-effective. President Barack Obama, former President Bill Clinton, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation have all joined the fight against these diseases. What makes MAP different? We are on the ground, day in and day out, affecting change through education and action. These are treatable and preventable diseases, and we believe no one should suffer from them.

With little fanfare, a Georgia-based Christian group, Medical Assistance Programs International, ships medicine donated by U.S. pharmaceutical companies to impoverished people across the world.
