MAP International is entrusted with millions of dollars of life-saving medicines and medical supplies each year from the world’s leading pharmaceutical manufacturers. To ensure the value of these critical supplies is maximized, MAP International screens its selected partners.
MAP International works with experienced non-profits and medical teams who can demonstrate in-country experience.
MAP's ideal partners are those charitable organizations whose corporate or organizational reputations have been established through memberships in international relief and development associations, financial accreditation bodies, regulatory agencies or other publicly recognized associations.
MAP International will determine initial eligibility based on completed eligibility forms. Continued eligibility will be dependent upon the quality of information provided about how MAP’s medicines and medical supplies made a difference for the communities served. Continued eligibility will also be reviewed against adherence to published standards and guidelines.

MAP International
offers its Travel Pack for all qualified medical mission teams. MAP
requests that its short term medical mission partners offer a $500 tax
deductible donation for each Travel Pack ORIGINAL® and a $300 for
each Travel Pack ESSENTIAL®. A minimum $100 tax-deductible donation
is requested for The Travel Pack EXTRA® option, though the actual
amount is determined by the quantities of products chosen. You may also order
Travel Packs and make your donation online if you have previously
ordered medical supplies from MAP by clicking here.
Donations assist MAP with the costs of procuring high quality medicines, maintaining its computerized inventory system, highly trained staff, extensive storage space, distribution tracking system, processing, packing, and shipping.

Customs documents, a notarized Gift Certificate and a Packing List are attached directly to the pack. We also provide a notarized Certificate of Quality and Authentication for certain countries. It is your responsibility to inquire about the current customs regulations for your destination. Some countries may require prior approval of your medicines list or have restrictions on product dating. Travel Packs do contain some shorter dated products.

You may call to cancel your request at any time before it is shipped. However, once a Travel Pack request is shipped, you must notify MAP of your cancellation and immediately return the medicines to receive a credit on your account toward your next mission. Packs returned within 21 days of delivery will be eligible for a refund on tax-deductible donations less a $75 cancellation fee.

All of the medicines in the packs are first quality and not expired. Some products may be short-dated with three to four months of shelf-life remaining while others will have expiration dates in excess of 12 months. Some countries have customs restrictions on product dating.
You may request a copy of the packing list which shows the expiration dates on each product in the pack you will receive. It is your responsibility to inquire about customs regulations for your country of destination to be sure the medicines meet the requirements for clearance.
