MEDICAL SUPPLY PROGRAM

(INTERNATIONAL MEDICAL RESOURCES)

MAP procures and distributes both donated and purchased medicines and medical supplies to hundreds of mission hospitals, clinics and agencies throughout the world.

The majority of the high-quality and FDA-regulated medicines are donated to MAP from leading U.S. healthcare companies and are processed in a modern 45,000 square foot secured and climate-controlled distribution complex.

Cash donations from individuals, churches, foundations and partner agencies cover a portion of the costs associated with processing and shipping supplies to remote areas. Although there is no direct charge for the medicines or supplies, a service fee is assessed to cover the remaining expense of processing and handling the materials. Gifts from individuals to defray handling costs are deductible as a charitable contribution. In most cases, you will be responsible for any shipping charges.

INTERNATIONAL MEDICAL RESOURCES PROGRAMS

  1. HEALTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM/CUSTOM ORDERS Provision of large or small volumes of assorted donated and purchased products to on going health development programs and healthcare systems and short-term mission teams.

  2. PRE-PACK PROGRAM Provision of pre-packaged assortments of both donated and purchased essential medicines and medical supplies to short-term mission teams, doctors, nurses and/or church mission groups

  3. EUROPEAN SUPPLY PROGRAM Provision of low cost, high quality generic medicines purchased in Western Europe and shipped direct to developing countries.

  4. EMERGENCY RELIEF PROGRAM Provision of appropriate donated and/or purchased medicines and medical supplies to areas around the world suffering from both man made and natural disasters. MAP collaborates with in-country partners to assess needs and ensure field-requested medicines and supplies are securely and effectively distributed.

Eligibility requirements for receiving medicines and medical supplies are outlined in the Eligibility and Guidelines and should be reviewed to determine whether you or your organization could benefit from MAP's services. If you feel you qualify and wish to be considered to receive MAP medical supplies, please complete and return these forms.
