DESCRIPTION:
In partnership with Ethicon, MAP International provides medical device products to physicians who use their professional skills and volunteer their time to participate in overseas medical missions. Products are used in charitable treatment of the ill, needy, and infants in developing countries which have a demonstrated need.
ELIGIBILITY:
Physicians must be participating in non-profit charitable work with a U.S. based 501(c)(3) tax exempt charitable organization. Further eligibility will be determined based on completed eligibility forms.
LIMITATIONS:
Each physician may place one order per year with a 250 unit cap per order. Different limitations may apply to designated products. Product inclusion and quantity are subject to availability.
MAP International policy does not allow for transport of product to any U.S. embargoed country or ones subject to economic sanctions, e.g. Cuba, Syria, Iran, and Sudan without the ordering physician providing proof of having obtained the required license from the appropriate departments of the U.S. government.
PACKAGING:
These packs are designed for convenience, can be checked as luggage, and are accompanied by a Gift Certificate and Packing List allowing for easy navigation through Customs.
