2018 Annual Report

A Year in Review: Medicine For The World

More than 13.6 million people in 104 countries were provided life-changing medicines and health supplies.

MAP supported more than 2,300 mission teams to help people in impoverished communities and started two new programs providing medicines to uninsured patients in the state of Georgia and initiated a Pediatric Antibiotics program to reach more children in need globally with life-saving antibiotics.

Dear Friend,

Barfoot-2This letter is written as a thanks to all of you who made the world a better place through your support of MAP International.

MAP could not do what it does without the strong commitment of partners sharing medicines with those in need, employees working tirelessly to insure the medicines get to where they need to be, volunteers that help wherever they can, and donors who contribute their resources to help make it happen.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, we thank you.

Jim Barfoot
Chairman of the Board

Producing an annual report causes us all to pause, reflect, and rejoice.

It is only natural to become so busy with current work and future plans that we forget to stop and look back at how far we’ve come.

But this is truly a report of God’s faithfulness during times of difficulty for so many. And it’s a thank you note to you, our donors, who make it all possible.

In this document, you’ll see numbers that we report to demonstrate transparency and accountability. What you don’t see are the gasps of surprise, the tears of joy, the hugs of gratitude that come from those who receive desperately needed medicine.
