Bausch Foundation International Medical Mission Program

John Jacob Bausch’s passion, perseverance, and innovation towards improving people’s lives are the guiding principles we honor with the Bausch Foundation.
The Bausch Foundation oversees and directs the Bausch Foundation International Medical Mission Program.
The Foundation supports initiatives aimed at disease prevention, improving patient outcomes, and lives, and education and community support related to our core businesses. Further, the Foundation supports disaster recovery efforts and those who need help in the communities in which we live and work.
As a standard practice, the Bausch Foundation and Bausch Health follow the Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) of the U.S. Department of the Treasury in regards to the sanctions, and other international mandates, developed in close cooperation with allied governments.
As such, there are some countries under sanction to which the Bausch Foundation may not allow our products to be sent. These may include Cuba, Iran, Iraq, North Korea, Russia, Sudan, Syria, and Ukraine. MAP is responsible for ensuring compliance with the sanctions, and the Bausch Foundation’s interpretation of those sanctions.
Bausch Foundation products and services are only available to participants residing within the United States and traveling abroad to serve on medical missions.

Complete Your Application
Any resident of the United States, embarking on a medical mission trip outside of the US, is eligible to receive over-the-counter products from the Bausch Foundation. However, only US Licensed Health Care Professionals (those who provide, supervise, or manage patient care or those in training for a health care profession) are eligible to receive prescription Bausch Foundation products.
Eligibility will be determined based on completion and review of application forms submitted to MAP International. A signature of a physician will be required to be on file as well. This digital signature will be required at the time of your application. All licenses are verified against current databases.
MAP Policy does not allow for transport of medicines or medical products to any U.S. embargoed country or ones subject to economic sanctions.
Payment
The medical mission packs and the bulk of the actual handling expenses required to distribute them are contributed by Bausch Foundation in the interest of providing better health care for medically underserved persons.
Bausch Foundation contributes products and the majority of handling expenses required for distribution. To offset the remaining handling costs, there is a required $65 tax-deductible service fee per order, which includes shipping costs, payable directly to MAP International.
Fees resulting from the need for expedited shipping services are the responsibility of the recipient. Once final review of criteria for partnership is confirmed, your request can be shipped within two days or as necessary to meet your delivery deadline.
