Irma Relief: A measure of comfort in a difficult time

Tens of thousands of Coastal Georgia residents are returning to their communities following evacuation from Hurricane Irma.

Love is what you do....

Our partner, Love A Child, begins each day at 4 a.m. It’s a great time of day to avoid the heat of Haiti. For Bobby and Sherry Burnette and the Love A Child mobile clinic team, they’ve been rising early for more than 25 years because once they arrive at their mission site, people will have been lined up for hours to receive medical care.

A Humbling Day in Haiti

Board member Susan Roeder devotes much of her time with MAP working on the numbers.  She serves on our audit committee helping us maintain the top-notch charity ratings. Yet from our experience visiting clinics and orphanages, she eloquently sums up the day in one word. “Humbling.   To see modern day heroes of the faith sacrificing what would otherwise could be an easy life in the US, lead a life of service, treating people who have practically nothing with great dignity,” Mrs. Roeder said.
