Pausing to Reflect: Donor Comments That Sustain Us

In this season of Lent, we reflect and prepare for the celebration of Easter. Through the comments you send and through the gratitude from those whom we serve, we pause with profound humility for the work MAP is able to perform in God’s name.  These comments are the encouragement we need to continue to advance MAP’s mission of providing life-changing medicines and health supplies to the world’s neediest.

We want to share some of these donor comments with you as we draw closer to the celebration of Christ’s resurrection.

"Please Keep taking care of God's hungry, starving, needy people." Marcus M.

"May God bless these funds, the people who utilize them and the people who receive them."  David B.

Many who share their comments are those serving on medical mission trips. The stories of their work healing people in resource-poor countries when all hope was nearly lost, is inspiring. Their comments include:

“Parents of children we treat say 'For our children, you've given us great hope’ ”  Don J., Africa Renewal Ministries

"Dear God, Thank you for MAP International. Because of them, we are able to treat more people and address their needs.  Bless their meeting, in Jesus' name". Marianne S.

"God intervened miraculously to save her life during her time at Kudjip Nazarene Hospital. Loreen gives all the glory to God, recognizing that he not only saved her physically but also redeemed her spiritually, saving her for all eternity. As Jesus said, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full” (John 10:10). Now Loreen can’t stop smiling and praising God as she looks forward to the new life God has in store for her." Sheryl U., Nazarene Health Ministries after treating Loreen, a patient who benefited from MAP medicines and supplies

MAP serves over 14 million people in more than 93 countries. Your comments and those who use our medicines and health supplies inspire our work. Thank you for your sharing your thoughts as we continue to serve ‘the least of these’ in God’s name.
