Turning 65 often brings thoughts of retirement. But here at MAP, we’re celebrating our 65th birthday and we’re just getting started!
Thanks to your generous support, MAP has touched the lives of millions and millions of people, providing life-changing and life saving medicines when they were in greatest need. We’ve made incredible progress over the years…but there’s still so much more to do.
So while we celebrate, we are also rededicating ourselves to reaching more of the 2 billion people who still live without the medicine they need.
As you read the latest issue of our newsletter, I hope you’ll see how you have been part of this ministry that God has blessed in so many ways. Without you, there would be no MAP.
If you ever wonder how God is using you, be encouraged by the stories in this issue.
When boxes of medicine began arriving at Ray Knighton’s small office 65 years ago (photo above), he had no idea that God was launching an international ministry that would save millions of lives. When I prayed to be rescued from my orphanage, I couldn’t imagine God would bring me to America and one day make me president of MAP International.
God’s plans are so much greater than we can ever imagine! And someday you will know how your contribution to MAP saved the life of a young girl in Guatemala or a mother in Haiti or a father in Uganda.
As you celebrate our birthday with us, please pray that God would continue to multiply MAP's ministry and help us reach many, many more precious people with medicine wrapped in God’s love. Everything we do here at MAP is motivated by our own faith.
May this newsletter inspire you today—and help your own faith grow. Thank you for all you do to support our mission of providing life-changing medicines and health supplies to people in need worldwide.
