At MAP International, we believe that everyone deserves access to quality healthcare, no matter where they live. That’s why we’re committed to providing life-changing patient treatments to people in need around the world.

Our efforts have enabled us to provide critical medicines and health supplies to millions of people in 86 countries around the world. We’re also pleased to report that we increased our medicine delivery by $119 million from the previous year, totaling $745,372,921. Additionally, we provided $37,549,164 in disaster relief – a $24 million increase from 2021. Our mission is simple yet impactful: to provide essential medicines and health supplies to those in need so they can live life to the fullest.

In the fiscal year 2022 alone, we delivered over 16 million prenatal vitamins to 49 countries to support maternal and fetal health. We also provided over 119,000 oral rehydration salts, totaling nearly 3 million sachets, to 45 countries to help prevent dehydration. Additionally, we administered over 1.8 million deworming medications to patients in 15 countries and provided over 800,000 antibiotics to individuals in 57 countries. Through our Bringing Children Health (BCH) Program, we were able to reach over 324,000 children – an increase of over 243,000 from the previous year. By targeting our efforts where they’re needed most, we can make a real impact and improve the health and wellbeing of children around the world.

Donate: If you make a donation through the Website via “donate” button, you will be asked to provide certain personally identifying information, such as your phone number, name and home address, as well as your credit card billing informationin order to process the donation. Unless you opt to donate to us on a monthly basis, the credit card information that you provide at the time of donation is used only to process your donation and will not be stored or used for any other purpose. Please note that we work with third parties to host and administer the shop, and to process your payment transactions, and any information you share may also be shared with such third parties.

Events; Partner with Us: We offer various opportunities to partner with us, sponsor events, etc. If you opt to participate in any of these opportunities, we will ask that you provide us some personally identifying information so that we can contact you with more information and provide you with the requested services.

Email Newsletter: If you opt to receive our emails, you will be required to provide your email address. You may unsubscribe from these emails at any time by using the link provided in the footer of all the email.

Contact Us: If you contact us through the contact form option on the Website, we may ask that you provide your name and email address, and you will have the option to provide additional information in your communication with us. We will use the information you provide to contact you back and to respond to your inquiries.

Non-Personal Information We Collect by Automated Means And How We Use It

IP Addresses – When you visit and interact with the Website, third parties with whom we have contracted to provide services for us may collect Internet Protocol addresses (each an “IP Address”), as well as browser type, Internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and page navigation. An IP Address is a unique identifier number that certain electronic devices use to identify and to communicate with each other on the Internet; your Internet Service Provider automatically assigns an IP Address to the computer that you are using. We gather this information to track Website visitor movement in the aggregate, and to gather broad demographic information for aggregate use.

We have a data retention and destruction plan that dictates the policies and procedures related to deletion and/or destruction of all information/data.

We do not intentionally or knowingly collect, use, or disclose personally identifiable information about EU Visitors to our Website that are less than 16 years of age. How is my information being protected?

MAP takes reasonable precautions to protect our users’ information and is certified to be Trustwave-PCI compliant per the attached certificate. All account information is located on a secured server behind a firewall. Because email and instant messaging are not recognized as secure communications, we never send private information by email or instant messaging services. Although we allow privacy setting that limit access to information, we are aware that no security measures are perfect or 100 percent effective but strive to maintain all current and reasonable safeguards for client and donor information.

MAP is committed to protecting consumer credit card data in compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). Our alignment with this standard is reflected in the people, technologies and processes we employ. We conduct regular vulnerability scans and penetration tests in accordance with the PCI DSS requirements for our business model.

Return Policy & Quality Control

As with any website operator, MAP International partner organizations analyze our website logs to constantly improve the value of our website. We use an external service to provide real-time reporting to us and our authorized agents of browser accesses to our site. This reporting includes page views, unique views, unique visitors, repeat visitors, frequency of visits, and peak-volume traffic periods. Because we care about the safety and privacy of children online, we comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA).
