MAP has been responding to disasters worldwide for over 60 years through our global and domestic partnerships. Whether our team is on the ground or working through trusted partners, we focus on helping communities save lives and restore health.

MAP is typically among the first to respond to global and domestic disasters. In 2017, MAP International has provided nearly $50 million in critical medicines and supplies to those affected by:

2017 Hurricane Season   (Texas, Florida, Georgia, Puerto Rico, Caribbean, Nicaragua & Honduras.)
September 2017: Earthquakes in Mexico & Guatemala
August 2017: Mudslides in Sierra Leone

MAP International is providing life-saving medicines for refugees who have fled violence in Syria. 

Other recent emergency response efforts:

Ebola in West Africa: MAP International provided more than 33,000 personal protective suits to protect healthcare workers and $16 million in medicines and medical supplies to treat the infected and prevent infection.

Syrian Refugee Crisis: MAP International has been responding to the Syrian refugee crisis since 2013, providing nearly $3 million in medicines to partner organizations working on the ground in the region.

MAP International has also delivered medicine and personal hygiene kits to Iraqi Christian refugees who have fled Mosul. This crisis continues for the families affected by the violence there.  MAP remains engaged in providing hope for those in need.
