Edwards Lifesciences Foundation - Every Heartbeat Matters

Edwards Lifesciences Foundation is driven by a passion to help patients. This rings true for our medical innovations, which seek to help patients live longer, healthier and more productive lives, as well as for our philanthropy.

To that end, since 2014, Edwards Lifesciences Foundation has committed over half of its philanthropy to impacting the global burden of heart valve disease by supporting the education, screening and treatment of underserved people.

Over 11 million people in the U.S. and millions more globally are affected by this deadly, yet treatable, disease. Every Heartbeat Matters is focused on helping those with the greatest challenges: those who can’t afford to travel for treatment, those who live in countries where there are no options for treatment, those who will never know they have a disease until it’s too late. It’s an urgent need. Will you join us?

If you are facilitating a humanitarian medical program for underserved patients, we encourage you to order these Every Heartbeat Matters post-operative patient care packages.

The Every Heartbeat Matters patient care package includes a tote bag, heart pillow, heart-shaped paper fan, personal care kit, disposable spirometer, notebook, pen, adult coloring book, colored pencils, pencil sharpener, mini rubik's cube and a ziploc-type bag.

Our global employees assemble these packages to hopefully bring a moment of comfort to patients as they recover around the world, to remind these patients that we care for them, and to let them know that we are thinking about them as they recover.
