Thank You For Your Partnership

Our work together brings hope to people who have none.

By sharing the stories from the field, you help empower MAP International to secure more medicines and health supplies to bolster our partnership.

Using ViewSpark To Share Stories

MAP International seeks to grow both the number and the quality of stories from our team and our partners in the field.

To achieve this goal, MAP is enhancing its feedback systems to make it simpler for you to gather and submit stories that will lift our partnership.

  8. Be sure to include the name of the person you have taken a picture with or of, the name of the town, clinic or facility you are visiting.
  9. If possible, include a brief note about why this is meaningful for our partnership.  Use emotive words, (grateful, moving, suffering, joyful, and humbled) to describe what you have witnessed.
  10. Click ‘SAVE’ at the top right of the screen. This will send a message to MAP that you have submitted content for us to review and share.

Here are some tips:

  • Before taking pictures or video, build rapport with people and learn their story. Introduce yourself, ask them their names, tell them why you are visiting, ask about their lives, and finally ask them for permission to take their picture or video them.

  • Take candid pictures and videos.  Remember to always video with your phone sideways (landscape mode).

  • Take pictures of “caring” when it happens. Show your staff interacting with beneficiaries and families.

  • Don't worry about grammar, punctuation or spelling. We will take care of that in the editing process.

From our experience, we know the following types of stories can move hearts: individual patient stories, program impact stories, thank you quotes, or difference makers.

Check out this story about a father’s unconditional love for his daughter that was shared by one of our partners.
