Urgent! Help rush lifesaving pediatric antibiotics to children in need!

Your gift now can help save children
The demand for lifesaving pediatric antibiotics is growing…and we need your help to get medicine to children in need.

Last year, we sent out 180,000 doses of pediatric antibiotics. In the past nine months, we have already more than doubled our program impact with 480,000 doses to date.
The need continues to rise and the requests continue to outpace what we can provide because we simply don’t have the funding.

Your gift helped save children like Rahid!
One out of every eight children born in Sierra Leone doesn’t live to see their fifth birthday.
Eighteen month old Rahid was almost one of them. His mother, Janet, trudged several miles in the hot Sierra Leone sun to get Rahid to a local clinic. The child had been running a fever, and she knew of nowhere else to go for help.
Fortunately, this small clinic had just received a donation of medicine and supplies from MAP, including a collection of pediatric antibiotics — worth more than pure gold to people who have so little access to healthcare.
Help raise $500,000 to rush this medicine to our on-the-ground partner
We currently have 750,000 bottles of co-trimoxazole in inventory. Co-trimoxazole is used to treat certain bacterial infections, such as pneumonia, bronchitis and infections of the urinary tract, ears, and intestines.
Our partner in Sierra Leone uses this medicine as a prophylaxis for children with HIV or to prevent the contraction of HIV. We also just sent a container to Haiti and Burkina Faso.
