Frequently Asked Questions
MAP has a Christian culture. What does that actually look like in the workplace?
At MAP, we are a uniquely and distinctly Christian organization, and we strive to uphold our Christian faith in the workplace. We hold firm to Biblical values and integrate our Christian values into our daily work practices. Examples of this include weekly staff devotions, times of praise and worship during monthly meetings, and our annual Day of Prayer that kicks off our fiscal year. We are not an evangelical organization, nor are we directly affiliated with any one denomination or church.
MAP International is Christian non-profit providing medicine and health supplies to those in need around the world so they might experience life to the fullest. Our mission is guided by the words of Jesus in Matthew 25:36: “I was sick and you cared for me.” MAP serves all people regardless of religion, gender, race, nationality or ethnic background.

How long does it take to start working once I have been offered a job?

Once a candidate has been offered a position, they can typically expect to begin working within three weeks. We understand the importance of timely hiring and work diligently to ensure a smooth and prompt transition for our new team members.
Yes, some MAP jobs can be performed remotely, depending on the role. You can find out if a position is designated as ‘remote,’ ‘hybrid,’ or ‘in office’ by reviewing the job posting. MAP has a formal hybrid work policy that provides employees with required hardware and supplies, as well as a stipend for phone connectivity for those who work remotely in the domestic U.S.
For employees with a hybrid schedule, they are expected to be in the office three to four days a week, with the option to work remotely one to two days a week. Hybrid status is only available to employees in the Brunswick or Atlanta areas.
