Our efforts have enabled us to provide critical medicines and health supplies to millions of people in 86 countries around the world. We’re also pleased to report that we increased our medicine delivery by $119 million from the previous year, totaling $745,372,921. Additionally, we provided $37,549,164 in disaster relief – a $24 million increase from 2021. Our mission is simple yet impactful: to provide essential medicines and health supplies to those in need so they can live life to the fullest.

In the fiscal year 2022 alone, we delivered over 16 million prenatal vitamins to 49 countries to support maternal and fetal health. We also provided over 119,000 oral rehydration salts, totaling nearly 3 million sachets, to 45 countries to help prevent dehydration. Additionally, we administered over 1.8 million deworming medications to patients in 15 countries and provided over 800,000 antibiotics to individuals in 57 countries. Through our Bringing Children Health (BCH) Program, we were able to reach over 324,000 children – an increase of over 243,000 from the previous year. By targeting our efforts where they’re needed most, we can make a real impact and improve the health and wellbeing of children around the world.

Hal Donaldson

Hal Donaldson is president of Convoy of Hope, a faith-based nonprofit that leads humanitarian initiatives across the United States and around the world. Through Convoy of Hope, families receive supplies and resources through community outreaches, international children’s feeding programs, job training for mothers, agriculture initiatives, and disaster relief.

An interview with Mother Teresa in India was a key influence in Donaldson establishing Convoy of Hope in 1994. The Nobel Peace Prize laureate asked him what he was doing to help the poor and hungry — when he admitted “not doing much of anything,” she told him “everyone can do something.” He took her words seriously, and that’s now resulted in more than 350 million people around the world receiving life-changing help.

Donaldson served as editor-in-chief of Evangel magazine for 13 years. He’s an award-winning journalist and speaker, and has authored more than 30 books, including Disruptive Compassion: Becoming the Revolutionary You Were Born to Be and Your Next 24 Hours: One Day of Kindness Can Change Everything. His latest book, What Really Matters, offers insight into serving a hurting world while maintaining your own life priorities.

His awards include the National Distinguished Service Award in Social Welfare, Alumnus of the Year at Bethany University, and a 2017 induction into the Missouri Public Affairs Hall of Fame.

He and his wife, Doree, have four daughters: Lindsay, Erin-Rae, Lauren, and Haly.
