In times of disaster,
people often don’t have
access to basic necessities.

In the past 5 years, 6,000 volunteers have brought hope and healing to people in desperate need by packing over 50,000 Disaster Health Kits and giving approximately 26,000 hours of donated time.

For a person who has lost everything, Disaster Health Kits affords them a sense of dignity, and maintains their humanity.

MAP’s signature Disaster Health Kits (DHKs) support one person living in a shelter for an entire week. MAP DHKs include soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and other essential items.
